Apply for MARLOWE Certification™

Open certification. No exclusivity. If you meet the standard, you earn the seal.

The certification standard is the operational expression of the Architecture of Dependency and Autonomy™ — a civilizational diagnostic theory operating across governance, energy, finance, healthcare, child welfare, justice, war, American ideology, artificial intelligence, and cosmology. Dependency and autonomy are structural positions in the regulatory architecture, not behaviors or values. Certification verifies that the applying entity's operational architecture produces autonomy outputs — that the resource reaches the human rather than being absorbed before it arrives. That structural question is the only question the certification asks.

Before You Apply — Read This

MARLOWE Certification™ is an independent economic transparency certification. It is layered on top of your existing industry regulatory compliance (FDA, USDA, FDIC, state licensing, etc.) and certifies that your business operates without Ghost Load™ extraction.

Certification requires:

If these criteria align with how your business operates or how you want it to operate, you are a candidate for certification.

Application Steps

  1. Submit initial inquiry (this page) — tell us about your business
  2. Receive response within 10 business days with next-step document checklist
  3. Submit documentation — regulatory licenses, most recent annual financials, pricing structure, compensation records, organizational chart
  4. Pay the tiered certification fee (schedule below) — based on your annual revenue
  5. Undergo the Ghost Load™ audit — deterministic, formula-based review of your disclosed financials
  6. Receive your certification decision — pass, or revise-and-reapply with feedback
  7. Receive the seal license and be listed in the Registry
  8. Renew annually via re-audit

Fee Schedule (Tiered by Annual Revenue)

Fees fund the audit operation and maintenance of the Registry. The operation accepts no outside capital, takes no donations, and has no investors — certification fees are the sole source of operational revenue.

Initial fee schedule (subject to refinement based on first-cohort experience):

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the seal guarantee my business will grow?

No. The seal certifies your economic transparency; it does not guarantee sales, customer acquisition, or market outcomes. Those depend on the quality of your service and your own marketing. The seal is a signal to consumers who are specifically looking for transparent providers — an audience that is growing but is not the entire market.

What if I fail the audit?

You receive a detailed report identifying where your operation falls outside the standard. You may revise and reapply at no additional fee within 12 months. Many providers will not pass on the first application — the standard is genuinely strict, and that's the point.

Can I display the seal before I'm certified?

No. Use of the MARLOWE Certification™ seal, mark, or name in marketing without an active certification is trademark infringement and will be pursued. Serial numbers: 99598875, 99600821, 99613073, 99717240, 99729215, 99745529.

What if my business gets acquired or changes ownership?

Certification does not automatically transfer. The new ownership must submit a notification within 30 days and undergo a fresh audit. Ownership changes are a material event. This protects the seal from being used as an asset in acquisition negotiations — which is how certifications typically get captured by extraction interests.

What if my competitor gets certified and I'm not yet?

Apply. There is no cap on certifications per category per region. If you meet the standard, you will be certified. The goal is for every category to eventually have multiple certified providers competing on quality rather than extraction.

Who decides whether I'm certified?

The Ghost Load™ audit is deterministic — the formula produces a score based on disclosed financials, and pass/fail thresholds are published by industry category. There is no discretionary approval process. If your numbers fall within threshold, you are certified. If they don't, you aren't. This is the anti-capture design.

Can I lose certification after I've been certified?

Yes. Certification is revoked when: (a) you fail an annual re-audit, (b) you lose required regulatory licensing in your industry, (c) you materially misrepresent information during the application, or (d) you violate the licensing terms of the seal. Revocation is public and immediate.

Who runs this?

MARLOWE Certification™ is operated personally by L.M. Marlowe, under The Institutional Reformation™. It is not a corporation, not venture-backed, not a nonprofit. It is a sovereign author-held certification authority anchored by six USPTO filings, GAO docket COMP-26-002174, DOE filing AR 2026-001, and federal whistleblower protection under 18 U.S.C. § 1833(b). Prior art anchor: November 7, 2025.
